Image and Object

Year 2 students are asked to think about their respective painting practices in relation to 'the object.' This will form the basis of the group crits in Week 10 after Easter. Please refer to handout and research the specific examples given: James Rosenquist's 'Capillary Action II', Nigel Cooke's show at Andrea Rosen in 2009, Sarah Sze and Giorgio Morandi. Think about the possibilities of  'the object' in relation to your own work.
