Dalwood in Dublin
Dexter Dalwood/ Yalta/ 2006
Dalwood's lecture at the National Gallery in Dublin provided a very generous and open insight into his ideas, processes and methods of painting. Setting his works against a wide background of influences and intentions, drawn from the world of music, history, art history and literature, all made for an extraordinarily informative talk. For students who did not make the trip down, click on Post Title for link to another interview/ lecture given as part of the Turner Prize exhibition 2010 at the Tate. It covers some of the work and ideas discussed in Dublin on Tuesday.
